Join North Tyneside VODA for this free course.
This free Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed for staff and/or volunteers of small voluntary and community organisations who want to provide first aid in response to an emergency.
It is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.
The full-day accredited course will provide basic lifesaving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
Robert Chambers of Hadrian Safety Management will guide you through the essentials of first aid.
*** Spaces will be limited to one place per organisation. Please note that the course only covers first aid protocols for adult casualties, and a certain amount of physical activity is involved. Participants will need to demonstrate techniques from the floor in a group environment. ***
This workshop will take place at VODA's office in Wallsend from 9:30am to 4pm and is for voluntary and community groups and organisations based in North Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead & Northumberland.
Refreshments provided but please bring your own lunch.
